General Terms and Conditions of Trade

1) Certification & Condition of Parts

a) All items are in NEW OUTRIGHT condition unless otherwise specified
b) Company Certificates of Conformance are supplied with all shipments
c) FAA 8130-3 Certification is available with prior arrangement
d) Manufacturers certification is available with prior arrangement – customer is to advise of this requirement when the quotation is requested and should be noted on the purchase order
e) All Overhauled parts come complete with FAA 8130-3 Certification

2) Pricing

a) Orders are only accepted via a written a purchase order
b) All items are quoted in US Dollars
c) All items are quoted FOB our dock in Dallas, Texas unless prior arrangements with IAS have been made
d) Prices are subject to change unless quoted with a guarantee for a specifically stated period
e) All items are subject to prior sale
f) Prices are confirmed at the time of ordering
g) All sales are final

3) Warranty

a) All new products come complete with manufacturers warranties – typically against defects in materials and problems/issues with workmanship
b) Please contact us if you need the specific warranty policy of a particular manufacturer
c) Please note that warranties do NOT cover improper installation, handling/care or abuse of the product

4) Return Policy

a) Contact IAS for a RAN (Return Authorization Number) prior to returning any items to us
b) All items must be returned appropriately packaged, complete with original certification, packing materials, manuals, accessories etc.
c) The RAN must appear on the outside of the box
d) Delivery of Items returned to IAS without a RAN with be refused
e) The items must be shipped back to us – prepaid and insured – we do not accept COD shipments
f) After evaluation of the item, the manufacturer will either repair or replace the item at their discretion (within the parameters of their warranty policy)
g) All items returned or cancelled are subject to a restocking fee and re-certification fee where applicable

5) Payment

a) Telegraphic Transfer

i. Funds deposited directly into our Account
ii. IAS is to receive the full amount as indicated on the invoice. All Banking and Telegraphic Transfer charges are to the Senders Account

b) Credit Card

i. MasterCard
ii. Visa
iii. American Express
iv. All Credit Card payments are subject to a credit card handling fee

c) Cash On/Prior to Delivery

i. Arranged with Freight Carrier
ii. Cash, Cashier Check, Money Order
iii. Company Check with prior approval

d) Terms

i. Arranged prior to Shipment
ii. Provide Bank & Credit References
iii. Subject to IAS approval
iv. All items not paid within the agreed upon term are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge

e) Irrevocable Letters of Credit

i. All charges to the issuer

6) Freight & Insurance

a) All items are typically sold FOB our Dock
b) CIF shipments are facilitated with prior arrangement
c) We will ship using the carrier/freight forwarder of your choice or use our discretion – as per your directive
d) All shipments must be insured unless otherwise agreed
e) Customer assumes all liability when product is shipped on their account

7) Exchange Sales & Core Returns

a) Core charges are billed at the time of sale
b) The customer assumes all responsibility for the charges incurred in returning the cores to IAS (including but not limited to freight, insurance, handling, customs clearance etc)
c) With prior arrangement, IAS will pay these charges on behalf of the customer and invoice them accordingly
d) All cores must be returned to IAS within 21 days from the original date of sale for core credits to be considered
e) Supplemental charges will be incurred if incorrect or unacceptable cores are returned
